Ryan J. Smith MD

Dr. Ryan J. Smith, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and a board-certified diagnostic radiologist at Penn Medicine. Specializing in adult diagnostic radiology, Dr. Smith delivers expert care across several flagship institutions, including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, and Chester County Hospital.

Dr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Franklin and Marshall College before completing his medical degree at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency training at both Lehigh Valley Hospital and Albert Einstein Medical Center, subsequently finalizing his specialized training through a fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
