Ruud L. M. Deijkers MD, PhD

Dr. Ruud Deijkers, MD. Ph.D. has been working as a hand and wrist specialist at the Haga Hospital since 2009. After completing Deijker's specialization as an orthopedic surgeon at the University Medical Center in Leiden in 2000, Deijkers first worked at the Reinier de Graaf Gasthuis in Delft. Deijkershave built up extensive expertise in the field of hand and wrist surgery. Deijkers is regularly invited as a guest speaker at courses. Deijkers also see a lot of second opinions. As a board member of various working groups, Deijkers was involved in improving the quality of hand and wrist surgery in the Netherlands. As a member of the Haga Hand and Wrist Center Deijkers work closely with the specialists present there. Deijkers also specialized in hip and hip revision surgery. Since 2007 Deijkers have been using the tissue-sparing anterior approach when placing an artificial hip.
