Ruth Ramm BAppSc (HMS), DMU(Cardiac), AMS

Ruth Ramm is the Director ofEcho Ed team. Ruth gained her adult Echocardiography training and held the position of Chief Cardiac Scientist at the Wesley Private Hospital (1995 – 2007) under the supervision of Dr Greg Scalia. She moved over to the Mater Children’s Hospital, Brisbane in February 2008 to further her paediatric knowledge and Echocardiography skills.

Ruth has always enjoyed tutoring, teaching, examining (ASUM oral examinations and practical exams for the DMU Part II Cardiac exams (2005-2007); QUT practical exams and QUT tutoring workshops for first and second year students (2008 – present), AIU Lecturer (2008-2011). Over the past seven years she has moved around Queensland educating junior Echocardiographers and teaching one-on-one Echocardiography skills (both adult and paediatric echocardiography) also presenting at Echo Australia (2012, 2014, 2017 and upcoming 2018) and Port Douglas Heart Meetings (2001, 2004, 2010, 2012, 2015 and upcoming 2018).
