Ruth H. Palme

Ruth Palmer studies basic aspects of ALK signaling using different model systems including Drosophila melanogaster, transgenic mice, tumor-derived human cells and xenograft models. Her research led to seminal novel insights into ALK signaling, the discovery of ALK ligands and the role of ALK mutations in cancers including neuroblastoma.
