Ruth McLaren is a Research Officer and Ph.D. student in the School of Clinical Sciences at AUT. She is a member of the Rehabilitation Innovation Centre within the Health and Rehabilitation Institute at AUT. Ruth's Ph.D. is investigating Noisy galvanic vestibular stimulation and its effect on postural control in people with Bilateral vestibulopathy. She is also the project manager on several studies related to the implementation of technology to improve rehabilitation outcomes. Her clinical background is in Physiotherapy with a focus on people's recovery from vestibular and neurological disorders throughout the rehabilitation journey.
