Rupert Pullen DM, FRCS, FRCSEng

Rupert Pullan is a consultant general and colorectal surgeon at Torbay Hospital, Torquay. His clinical interests centre on the investigation, diagnosis and management of surgical digestive disorders, advanced colonoscopy and the management of abdominal wall hernias and defects. He is Centre Director of the South Devon Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and a BCSP screening colonoscopist. He trained at Oxford University and lectured in anatomy at the University of Manchester Medical School. He then trained in surgery at Nottingham, Bristol and Cardiff. His Doctorate of Medicine degree was based on research on inflammatory bowel disease.
