Ruchika Bandekar BSc(Hons)

Ruchika Bandekar have over 8 years laboratory experience. In her current role at MedImmune Ltd, she working in a scale-up lab, producing material for toxicology studies in stainless steel vessel and single-use bioreactors of volumes upto 500L using mammalian cells. She is also doing part-time Masters by Research in Biochemical Engineering from UCL along side my full time job. she have a Bachelor’s hons. degree in Biotechnology. She also did a lot of work with Streptomycetes spp during her industrial placement at Eli Lilly which included antibiotic production using bioreactors, generating scale down models, optimising fermentation process conditions, strain improvement, etc.
