Ruby Liu BA, PharmD

Ruby Liu, BA, PharmD, is the Director of Pharmacy at Alignment Healthcare (AHC), a healthcare services company focused on providing population health management services as a health plan and in partnership with health systems and provider groups around the country. Ruby oversees AHC's pharmacy benefit strategy, operations, and PBM oversight programs in multiple markets. In her current role, she implements strategies aimed at improving medication adherence, quality of care and HEDIS/Star programs, improving member experience with pharmacy benefit and managing drug expenditure trend.

Prior to her current role, Ruby served as a Subject Matter Expert at OptumRx, a UnitedHealth Group company, within the PBM's Formulary and Clinical departments and, also, managed a specialty pharmacy where she developed and implemented programs that improved medication adherence for geriatric patients and patients with HIV/AIDS.
