Rp (rob) Coppes MD, PhD

Rob Coppes is a 2012 Full Professor of Radiotherapy, with a focus on the side-effect of radiotherapy on normal tissues at the University Medical Center Groningen, University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology, in 1993. Since 1998 he participates in the Groninger Proton Therapy Project with the KVI-Center for Advanced Radiation Technology on the effects of proton and carbon beams on normal tissues. He is program leader of Cancer Research Center Groningen research program; Damage and Repair in Cancer Development and Cancer Treatment.
