Roseann S. Gammal is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS University in Boston, MA. She received her Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from MCPHS University in Worcester, MA. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at the University of North Carolina Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC and a PGY2 specialty residency in Clinical Pharmacogenetics at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Gammal is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) with interests in both pharmacogenomics and pediatrics. She is published in the field of pharmacogenomics and has presented on pharmacogenomics topics to national and international audiences. She serves as a Pharmacogenomics Clinical Specialist for the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium, an NIH-funded organization that creates evidence-based guidelines describing how to use pharmacogenetic test results to optimize medication therapy.
