Rosalyn Pitt, PT, EdD, SPE, a Physical Therapist, is on the faculty at Tennessee State University Physical Therapy Program where she is also the Department Head. Dr. Pitt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, and Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling and Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction degrees at Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. Her area of expertise covers psychosocial interactions and pediatrics. Dr. Pitt has a passion for children and ensures that they have an opportunity to have healthy lifestyles. It is for this reason that she actively pursues every opportunity of teaching students in health care fields about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and encourages all health care programs to incorporate this subject into their curriculum.
