Ros is the founder of LaughLife Wellbeing Programs, a leading provider of programs to enhance positivity, joy and resilience. She is the author of the critically acclaimed book “Laughing at cancer – How to Heal with Love, Laughter, and Mindfulness” now in its second edition. The book is part memoir, part healing guide based on her experience healing from bowel cancer. It has received widespread media attention including Channel 7 Radio National Lifematters, ABC 774 with Libbi Gorr, Daily Mail, and 3AW. Ros was the guest speaker at Melbourne Jewish Book Week and Sydney Jewish Writer’s Festival.

Ros is an Adjunct lecturer in the School of Public Health and Psychology at La Trobe University, where for many years she lectured in health promotion. She has a Master of Public Health and Post Graduate qualifications in Health Promotion.

Ros’s ‘Laugh out Loud’ LOL project in residential aged care facilities featured on ABC TV and in The Herald/Sun and laughter therapy program for dialysis patients at Monash Health won the Innovation in Nursing/Midwifery, Monash Health Nursing and Midwifery Award and featured on The Project (Channel 10) and in The Age.

She has written for mainstream general and wellbeing media including Mamamia, The Huffington Post, Wellbeing Magazine, and Canberra Times, and provided expert comment for a range of publications including Yahoo Finance. Ros is an MVP Champion for Cancer Aid, peer mentor for Bowel Cancer Australia, Laughter Ambassador for Laughter Yoga International, and Laughter Wellness Expert for the digital TV Channel, The Love Destination. A Holistic Services group wellness provider, Ros also regularly presents at Ausmed Education and Australasian Laughter Wellness conferences. She is a member of the Association of Applied Therapeutic Humor and The International Positive Psychology Association.
