Dr. Roopa Rajanc is a Neurology and Movement Disorders specialist at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. Her research focuses on the genetics and electrophysiology of movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, and tremor. Clinical outcomes of deep brain stimulation, botulinum toxin therapies, and integrated care have been additional research priorities.
Roopa is the project coordinator for the Indian Movement Disorder registry- a multicentric clinical registry and biorepository for patients with Movement Disorders and a nodal center PI in the Lux-GIANT consortium for GWAS in PD. She is the co-chair of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS) Young Members Group and the Integrated Care study group and also serves on the MDS Education Committee.
