Rony Avritscher MD, FSIR

Dr. Rony Avritscher is an Associate Professor and co-chair of the pre-clinical research program in the Department of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Avritscher earned his medical degree from the University of Sao Paulo, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He completed his radiology residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center and subsequently joined the faculty in 2006. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Interventional Radiology.
