Ronald J. Simon MD

Ronald Simon, M.D. is currently the Chief of the newly formed Division of Acute Care Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center. This new division, within General Surgery, incorporates Trauma, Emergency General Surgery, and the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Prior to coming to Maimonides, Dr. Simon was the Chief of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care, and Vice-Chairman, and Residency Program Director at Lincoln Medical Center in the South Bronx. He has previously been the Chief of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at Bellevue Hospital Center and Jacobi Medical Center.
