Ronald M. Gonzalez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, New York, United States. Gonzalez attended Kean University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in athletic training, with a minor in biology. After working as an athletic trainer, he attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ - School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency there. Gonzalez completed a fellowship in hand and upper-extremity surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He has also been involved in several clinical research projects, which have been presented at the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the New Jersey Orthopedic Society. Gonzalez specializes in sports injuries, trauma, and degenerative conditions of the hand, shoulder, and elbow, including microsurgery. He has special interests in arthroscopic surgery of the wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
