Dr. Ronald Schwartz is an Attending Cardiologist, Professor of Medicine, and Professor of Imaging Sciences. He serves as Director of Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac PET CT at URMC. Dr. Schwartz is an active clinical cardiologist with expertise in cardiac imaging and special interests in nutrition, lipid management, and preventive cardiology.
Dr. Schwartz takes care of patients with cardiovascular diseases who are outpatients and those admitted to Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Schwartz serves as the director of the Cardiovascular Nuclear Medicine Training Program. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine.
