Rona F. Woldenberg MD

Rona Woldenberg, M’87, is a Professor of Radiology and Associate Dean of Admissions at The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell. She served as co-chair and member of the Class of 1987 reunion committees and has been a member of the Medical Alumni Advisory Council since 2010.

Dr. Woldenberg is a past president of the Eastern Neuroradiological Society and heads the Neuroradiology section of the national Diagnostic Radiology In-Training (DXIT™) examination. She was Founding Editor and Editor-in-Chief of Case in Point, an online daily case presentation sponsored by the American College of Radiology.

Dr. Woldenberg received her BA from Princeton University and MD from the University of Pennsylvania. After a medical internship at Winthrop University Hospital, she did her residency in Diagnostic Radiology, as well as her chief residency and fellowship in Neuroradiology, at the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System (now Northwell Health).
