Ron Milo is the chairman of the Department of Neurology and director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center at the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon, the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel.

Dr. Milo obtained his medical degree from the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School, Jerusalem. He completed his training in neurology at the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, Tel Aviv University, and a research fellowship in neuroimmunology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where he studied the immunomodulatory properties of interferon-beta and glatiramer acetate in MS. Since his return to Israel in 1994, he has been involved in basic and clinical research in MS, and has accumulated more than 25 years of experience in conducting clinical trials in MS and other neurological conditions.
