Romain Seil MD, PhD

Romain has worked as an orthopaedic surgeon at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg since September 2004 where he acts as Head of the Department of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery and, from 2008, as Head of the Department of the Locomotor system. His main areas of clinical activity are orthopaedic sports medicine as well as primary and revision knee reconstructive surgery. He was appointed extraordinary professor in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Saarland in 2007. Romain has been co-director of the Luxembourg Olympic Medical Centre since 2008 and of the Sports Medicine Research Laboratory of the ‘Centre de Recherche Public – Santé’ since 2009. He was chairman of the arthroscopy committe.
