Rolv Arnold Skjaerven PhD

Professor Rolv Skjaerven at the Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care at the University of Bergen was awarded an ERC Advanced Grant of 2,5 million euros from the European Research Council. The University of Bergen also contributes to the project with approx. 1,5 million euro. Skjaerven is also a researcher at the Centre for Fertility and Health.

The aim of the research project is to advance our understanding of how pregnancy complications affect long-term maternal health and help to develop more effective chronic disease prevention strategies.
