Rolf Jautelat is Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Throughout his career he has been involved in drug discovery projects aiming for cardiovascular drugs, targeted anti-cancer agents, antibody-drug conjugates and new ophthalmic agents.
In addition, he has contributed to the design of Chemistry Information Systems, first at Schering AG and then later at Bayer AG. Rolf received a Ph.D. in synthetic chemistry from the University of Hannover followed by postdoctoral studies at the Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla.
