Roisin Mcgrath DipDH, DipDT GradCertIntlHlth, MPH, PhD

Roisin is a PhD candidate and lecturer at the Melbourne Dental School (University of Melbourne) and her project aims to build capacity of community mental health workers to promote oral health for people living with severe mental illness. Roisin has over 25 years of experience in the oral health field and has worked as a clinician in a range of settings, in both the UK and Australia. She has taught at the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University and RMIT.

She has held non-clinical positions in health promotion at Dental Health Services Victoria and in outreach/volunteer dental program management with the Royal Flying Doctor Service Victoria. Recently, Roisin was part of the Melbourne Dental School team responsible for developing the national key performance indicators to monitor oral health in Australia. Roisin is a former President of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia Victorian Branch and is still actively involved in the DHAA Vic committee.
