Rohit Bisht BPharm, MPharm, PhD

Dr. Rohit Bisht is currently working as an Associate Professor and research coordinator, Department of Pharmaceutics, Devsthali Vidyapeeth, Rudrapur, India. He is a Founder and Director of SciTech Communication, Uttarakhand, India. He is also serving as an Ambassador for Bentham Sciences. He is an organizing committee member at 2nd World Congress on Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry. He has completed his Bachelor and Master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from India. He has also worked as a research trainee-Ocular implants at Department of Ocular Pharmacology and Pharmacy, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. He has completed his Ph.D. from University of Auckland, New Zealand where he worked on nanoparticles and injectable implants for effective peptide delivery to the back of the eye.

He was awarded a graduate research award from the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), USA. He is also awarded various travel grants. He has received training in ocular microdialysis techniques at University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA. He has published his research work in various reputed impact journals, such as Journal of Controlled Release, WIRE Nanomedicines, Molecular Pharmaceutics, etc. He has published book chapters in Elsevier. He also served as a member of a scientific abstract screener for AAPS conferences and reviewer for various journals. His area of interest is nanomedicines, ocular drug delivery and ex-vivo models for drug delivery technologies.
