Rogerio Custodio

Rogerio Custodio is a Bachelor in Chemistry from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) (1979). He currently occupies the position of Full Professor at the Institute of Chemistry, UNICAMP, and has experience in the area of Physical Chemistry, with emphasis on Theoretical Chemistry, acting on the following topics: development of computational methods in chemistry based on ab initio and density functional theories, design of basis functions, combination of pseudopotentials and composite theories, Quantum Monte Carlo and applications of quantum mechanics for structural, electronic, spectroscopic, and thermochemical properties of atomic and molecular systems.
