Dr. Roger Bermingham did his undergraduate work at Dartmouth College Medical School at UCLA, and his residency in family medicine at the University of Iowa. After spending seven years practicing in rural Colorado, Dr. Bermingham joined the faculty of the Residency in 1987 and served as program director in 1996 until the beginning of 2001. Dr. Bermingham is certified in geriatrics and is a certified nursing home medical director. Since 2006 he has been in charge of the curriculum for geriatrics, nursing home medicine and
home visits. He works with the inpatient medicine team to provide weekly Geriatric Rounds, which involves both patient consultation and inpatient geriatric topic review.
