Roger is an Emergency Physician and Intensivist based in Cape Town, South Africa.
He heads up the Emergency Centre at New Somerset Hospital and is the Emergency Medicine for the Metro West Area. He is on joint staff with the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Cape Town as a Senior Lecturer.
Roger is the current President of the College of Emergency Medicine of South Africa, and the current President of the Emergency Medicine Society of South Africa. His research interests include Non-Conventional Ventilation, and the Adrenal Axis.
In his free time, Roger loves getting way off the beaten track in the mountains and the wine lands of the Cape.
