Roger Cowan BSc

Roger Cowan has 32 years of direct experience managing quality assurance, manufacturing and R&D departments at major pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. and Canada. During his tenure at Alcon Laboratories, Inc., an international manufacturer of ophthalmic products, Roger worked as Q.A. Manager, Technical Services Manager (validation), and R&D Global Clinical Supplies Director. Roger has extensive knowledge of GMP as it relates to manufacturing facilities - in particular, aseptic manufacturing and product sterilization processes. He has broad experience in handling GMP and ISO audits from both U.S. and international regulatory agencies. During his career, Roger has performed many quality audits of both contract manufacturing organizations and chemical / packaging vendors. Roger has a Bachelor's degree in Honors Microbiology from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
