Dr. Morice is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He has been affiliated with this institution for the past 24 years where he also serves as the Chief of the Section of Interventional Pulmonology, Deputy Chair of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Director of Clinical Programs in Pulmonary Medicine, and the Medical Director of the Cardiopulmonary Center.

Dr. Morice graduated from the University of Costa Rica School of Medicine in 1974. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans in 1980 and his subspecialty training in Pulmonary Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1982. Dr. Morice is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and member of the World Association for Bronchology and the American Thoracic Society. Dr. Morice’s major focus of research and clinical practice is in the area of interventional pulmonology, lung cancer chemoprevention and early detection, and physiological assessment of patients at high risk for lung resection.
