Rodney B. Hanners MBA

Rodney B. Hanners serves as chief operating officer for Keck Medicine of USC. He is also chief executive officer of Keck Medical Center of USC. As COO, Hanners leads the system’s growth in market share and volume, further developing existing clinical infrastructure and managing the prudent use of resources. As CEO, he is responsible for the operating responsibilities of Keck Medicine of USC’s three acute care facilities: Keck Hospital of USC, USC Norris Cancer Hospital and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. He provides leadership for inpatient facilities by promoting teamwork, fostering efficiency, enhancing communication and establishing clearly defined goals and measurements.

Hanners is a seasoned healthcare executive with significant experience leading health systems, by improving their overall quality, reducing costs and optimizing their operating performance. He has a proven track record of driving organizational results across inpatient settings, as well as designing and implementing innovative care delivery models.
