Robin V. West MD

Dr. Robin West is a board-certified orthopedics and sports medicine surgeon. She joins Inova Medical Groups with over 11 years of clinical experience as an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. She has a interest in the prevention and management of all athletic injuries.

Dr. West has served as the head team physician for the entire atheltic department Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh men's basketball, wrestling, gymnastics and swimming/diving and as the assistant team physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Dr. West joined Inova in July 2014 as the medical director of the Sports Medicine Institute at Inova, where she will direct the clinical, strategic, administrative, and academic affairs of the newly established program.
