Dr. Roberto Iezzi obtained his Medical degree in 1999 and completed his residency in 2003. From 2004 to October 2008. Dr. Iezzi has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Radiology, Hospital “SS. Annunziata” in Chieti. Since November 2008 Dr. Iezzi has been working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Bioimaging and Radiological Sciences, Catholic University, Rome, Italy.
Dr. Lezzi is a Member of the Italian Society of Radiology (SIRM), the European Society of Radiology (ESR), and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE).
In his professional and scientific work, Dr. Iezzi has been focusing on cardiovascular and interventional Radiology, attending national and international congresses. In 2004 he received the P. Stefani Prize from the Italian Society of Radiology, which is an award given to young scientists.
He holds many awards for his clinical and investigative work, including both a Cum Laude and Certificate of Merit award from the CIRSE and ESR. His experimental and clinical investigations have mainly focused on contrast-enhanced ultrasonography, CT angiography, MR angiography, and vascular/extravascular and oncological interventional radiology.
Dr. Lezzi is the author or co-author of a number of publications, abstracts, and book chapters. He is involved in the faculty committee of national and international congresses (ECR, CIRSE, SIRM, GEST). He is co-founder and co-director of MIOLive (Mediterranean Interventional Oncology Live) Congress. He is a Reviewer of Radiology, European Radiology, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology, Emergency Radiology, Indian Journal of Radiology, and Surgical and Radiological Anatomy.
