Roberto Bomprezzi MD, PhD

Roberto Bomprezzi MD, PhD, joined UMass Chan Medical School faculty in September 2014. Prior to joining UMass Chan, he served as an attending neurologist, in Augusta, Maine, for Maine General Neurology from 2012 to 2014, and was a faculty for Barrow Neurological Institute, from 2008-2012 in Phoenix, Arizona, where he completed his fellowship in neuroimmunology. Bomprezzi, MD, and PhD completed medical school at the Sapienza University of Rome in Rome, Italy. He focused on clinical genetics research at the National Institutes of Health from 1999-2003 before completing his neurology residency at St Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
