Dr. Robert W. Yeh is the Katz-Silver Family Professor of Medicine in the Field of Cardiovascular Outcomes Research at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Richard A. and Susan F. Smith Center for Outcomes Research at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His area of investigation focuses on 1) applying innovative methods to evaluate new cardiovascular devices and therapies in both clinical trials and observational studies, with an emphasis on understanding methods to improve the value of novel technologies as they are used in clinical practice, and 2) examining the impacts of health policies on medical decision making and patient outcomes. He is a standing member of the Circulatory Devices Advisory Panel for the US Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Yeh is the Section Chief of Interventional Cardiology at BIDMC.
