Robert Walczak PhD

Dr. Robert Walczak is the Head of Pre-clinical Drug Research and Pharmacology at Genfit SA in Lille, France. He is also a coordinator of the OLNORME Consortium, an initiative that federates academic and industrial partners and aims to identify novel classes of antiinflammatory compounds in medicinal plants. Robert obtained his PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France, and then worked with worldrenowned investigators at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and subsequently at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, US, in the field of nuclear hormone receptors and metabolic diseases.
