Robert Vandervoort PharmD

Dr. Vandervoort earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida in 1995. Subsequently, he completed a specialty residency in Primary Care Pharmacy Practice at the Family Health Center at Florida Hospital, where he has served for the past twenty years as the Faculty Pharmacist for Florida Hospital’s Family Practice Residency.

He serves as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He holds appointments as Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Central Florida and the Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando.

In his primary role at Florida Hospital's Family Medicine Residency Dr. Vandervoort serves as director of the Anticoagulation Clinic and the Chronic Disease Management Clinic. His practice interests include literature review and analysis, diabetes, infectious disease, and anticoagulation. His hobbies include Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Home Theater. He lives in Ocoee with his wife and two small children.
