Dr. Walter received his Bachelors of Medical Science and Medical degrees through the accelerated Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University and completed his pediatric residency at the Northwestern Children’s Memorial Hospital and trained in pediatric radiology at George Washington University. Dr Walter is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Jefferson Medical College and was the Residency Director of DuPont/Jefferson pediatric program before joining Brandywine Pediatrics. He remains active in teaching pediatric residents and is the Program Director for both the annual ROY Warren Pediatric Seminar in Delaware and the national Hot Topics in Pediatrics in Disney World. In addition to the practice of pediatrics, Dr Walter’s professional interests include medical education, adolescent medicine, sports medicine and pediatric advocacy. Dr Walter has two children and is currently between dogs. In his spare time, Dr Walter enjoys family travel, exercising, movies/Broadway and Philly sports (Cowboy and Yankee fans are still welcome) plus creating and co-hosting the Podcast Pediatricians podcast for pediatric caregivers and savvy parents.
