Robert S. Miller MD, FACP, FASCO, FAMIA

Robert S. Miller, MD, FACP, FASCO, FAMIA has been CancerLinQ Medical Director since 2014. He provides scientific and clinical oversight for all aspects of CancerLinQ strategic plan and operations. He serves as primary staff support for the CancerLinQ physician committees, and he represents ASCO and CancerLinQ in numerous external collaborations to promote cancer data sharing, interoperability, and standards. Previously, he was ASCO Vice President for Quality and Guidelines.

His additional professional experience includes serving as Oncology Medical Information Officer at Johns Hopkins, where he specialized in the care of patients with breast cancer, community oncology practice in California, and hospice medical director. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia. He served a residency in internal medicine at UC, San Francisco, and a fellowship in medical oncology at Stanford. His biomedical informatics training was at Oregon Health and Science University. He is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and clinical informatics.
