Robert S. M. Davies MBChB, MMedSci, MD, FRCS

Mr Robert Davies qualified in 1999. He completed a master degree in medical education (MMedSci) in 2010 and a medical doctorate degree in surgery (MD) in 2012. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2011. Mr Davies was appointed as a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust in 2012 and an honorary senior lecturer in medical education at the University of Leicester in 2014. He is currently the training programme director for vascular surgery in the East Midlands, member of the vascular SAC, and co-director of the Simulation Centre at Leicester (SC@LE) His clinical sub-specialist area of interest is extreme lower limb revascularisation for limb salvage and he is the clinical director for the Vascular Limb Salvage Service at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust
