Robert Mccoy BS, AS

Mr. McCoy is a member of the PulmonaryHorizons® Board of Directors, in which he serves as Vice President and Associate Executive Director. Mr McCoy is a member of the PulmonaryHorizons® program committee and is a featured speaker and presenter for Pulmonary Horizons workshops and conferences. Mr. McCoy has extensive knowledge and experience in respiratory care sciences, manufacturing, medical devices, technology assessment, and marketing and has owned and operated health care diagnostic, durable medical equipment, marketing and technology assessment companies. He is the managing director for Valley Inspired Products and Principal of ValleyAire Respiratory Services.

Mr. McCoy excels in the field of research and technology assessment of medical devices. He owns active patents for respiratory technology and has consulted on behalf of health care manufacturers to develop and improve medical devices. He has lead consensus panels in support of long-term oxygen therapy and has conducted presentations nationally and internationally on topics related to respiratory care.

Mr. McCoy is the author of original publications and contributions in the area of respiratory applied science and has presented on various topics of interest in the field of respiratory care, nationally and internationally. Mr. McCoy attended Cardinal Stritch College and Triton College; he is a registered respiratory therapist, licensed in the state of Minnesota and Florida; has a B.S. in Management and is a Fellow, American Association for Respiratory Care. Mr. McCoy has a passion to develop and implement practical solutions that support improved care for patients diagnosed with COPD.
