Robert Lee Witt MD

Dr. Witt is an internationally recognized surgeon and researcher in salivary gland diseases and thyroid cancer. In private practice and part of the Christiana Care Medical-Dental Staff, he is a surgical attending at Christiana Care and a scientist for the Center for Translational Cancer Research.

Dr. Witt is a local graduate of Brandywine High School and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Delaware. He went on to Thomas Jefferson University for Medical School and completed his Residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery from the Harvard Medical School. On completion of his Residency training, he returned to his home state. The primary focus of Dr. Witt’s 26-year clinical practice is head and neck oncology. He has earned the titles of Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and Adjunct Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Delaware.
