Dr. Robert Katzer is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine, Associate Base Hospital Director and Associate EMS Director, UC Irvine Medical Center. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley and received his MD with AOA distinction from Temple University School of Medicine. He attended residency at the Georgetown University/ Washington Hospital Center training program in emergency medicine. While a resident, he was the assistant medical director for Georgetown Emergency Response Medical Service, Georgetown University's collegiate EMS organization. His prehospital experience also includes working with the National Park Service EMS in a diverse set of environments from the Grand Canyon's South Rim to the National Mall in Washington DC. He completed a fellowship in Emergency Medical Services at University of California, Irvine. He completed an MBA at University of California, Irvine, where he has achieved BGS distinction and was a 2013 Dean's Scholar.
