Robert G Riney

Mr. Robert G. Riney, also known as Bob, has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Henry Ford Health System since 2011. Mr. Riney served as an Executive Vice President at Henry Ford Health System. He is responsible for the operations of Henry Ford Medical Group, Henry Ford Hospital, and Henry Ford Bi-County and Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospitals. Mr. Riney served as the President of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration. He is responsible for Human Resources, Legal Services, Planning and Management Services, Information Technology, and Marketing and Public Relations. He is president of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration. He was the only member from Michigan to work on the 27-member American Hospital Association Commission on Workforce for Hospitals and Health Systems. He is a faculty member of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, a member of the Michigan Hospital Association Human Resources Committee and a graduate and current Trustee of Leadership Detroit. In addition, he is a board member of Michigan Health & Hospital Association and Lourdes Inc., and a member of the Philanthropic Committee of the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit.
