Robert Hess is Executive Vice President, Global Programming, Gannett Education, Gannett Healthcare Group (formerly Nursing Spectrum/NurseWeek). He leads the world’s largest full-service CE providership for nurses, which provides online www.nurse.com, print, and live education to a regular clientele of more than a million nurses, processing 1,000 tests per day and granting more than 3,000,000 contact hours to nurses last year alone. The American Nurses Credentialing Center recently recognized his providership unit for the third time in a row as “the best of the best,” with the 2007, 2009 and 2012 Accreditation Premier Program Award, one of only three CE providerships to ever receive this designation. Dr. Hess is also in charge of developing CE content for physicians, pharmacists, and about 18 other healthcare disciplines through the magazines and websites, Today in PT and Today in OT, and www.continuingeducation.com.
