Dr. Robert Baeten is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. He received his Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg, Master of Clinical Medical Science degree from Barry University, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Medical Technology from the University of South Florida.
He has 16 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant working in urgent care, cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, and cardiac critical care. He continues to work in an intensive care unit in the Atlanta area.
Dr. Baeten entered PA education in 2013 as an adjunct professor for a PA Post Graduate Residency in Advanced Cardiology at Piedmont Heart Institute. His current teaching responsibilities include Point of Care Ultrasound, Clinical Decision Making, and Clinical Medicine.
