Dr. Richardson is an award-winning local neurologist and medical educator, in practice since 1999. He is currently a staff neurologist at University Hospitals, practicing at UH Bedford Medical Center in Bedford, OH. He is an assistant clinical professor at Case Western Reserve University, and clinical associate professor at Ohio University. He is a medical graduate of Case Western Reserve University and graduate of Stanford University.

He has served in numerous leadership roles including former Director of Neurology, former Stroke Director and immediate past President of the Medical Staff at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center; and former Director of Neurology and former Stroke Director at South Pointe Hospital. This included successful efforts at St. Vincent and South Pointe for their national certifications and multiple recertifications from JCAHO as Primary Stroke Centers.

He speaks on stroke and multiple sclerosis in Cleveland’s African-American community because he believes knowledge improves access to medical care. He is the current President of the Board of the Kym Sellers Foundation, a foundation providing education on multiple sclerosis.
