Dr. Reardon earned his medical doctorate in 1993 from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed a transitional internship at HCMC before continuing on to fulfill his Emergency Medicine residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1997. Dr. Reardon then rejoined the Emergency Department staff at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1998.

Dr. Reardon is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Reardon’s areas of research interest are emergency airway management and emergency and critical care ultrasound. Dr. Reardon is the Program Director for the Emergency Ultrasound fellowship at HCMC and is the course director for Ultrasound for Clinicians, a course conceived to teach clinicians point-of-care ultrasound. In addition, he is a course instructor for The Difficult Airway Course.
