Robert Douglas Orr MD

R. Douglas Orr, MD, is a Staff physician in the Center for Spine Health and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, located on the main campus of Cleveland Clinic. He was appointed in 2003. Dr. Orr's practice interests include adult spinal surgery, including minimally invasive surgery and deformity surgery. In addition, his research interests include outcomes in spinal surgery, spinal biomechanics and biomaterials.

Dr. Orr joins Cleveland Clinic from Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation, Hamilton General Division in Ontario where he was a staff member for the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Orr also served as the assistant clinical professor of surgery at McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario) and was previously the site chief of orthopedics at the Hamilton General Site Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation.
