Robert A. Hieb MD, RVT, FSIR

Robert A. Hieb, MD, FSIR, RVT is a Professor of Radiology, Vascular Surgery, and Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He attended the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and then completed a Surgical Internship and Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center before his fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, which he completed in 1998. He then spent four years in private practice in Fresno, CA. Dr. Hieb was recruited to join the faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin and has been practicing there since 2002. Dr. Hieb was program director for the IR fellowship for over a decade and was instrumental in raising the prestige of the fellowship, now widely considered one of the top fellowships in the U.S.
