Pioneer in launching PGD/PGS. Dr. Ritu Hari had been heading the department of Medical Genetics at CRAFT Hospital & Research Centre since August 2013. She had completed her MSc. in Human Genetics (with special emphasis on Genetic Counseling and Prenatal Genetics) from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai in 2006 and did her MS in Bioinformatics and Phd.

In Human Genetics from the distinguished University of Birmingham, United Kingdom (UK) in 2012. In addition, she had obtained diploma in Genetic Counseling and Genetic Engineering and had visited Germany for a special course in Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis.

Previously, Dr. Ritu had worked as Chief Geneticist at Samad IVF Hospital, Trivandrum during 2006-2007 and as Geneticist and Genetic Counselor at NHS, Uinted Kingdo (UK) during 2009-2012. She had also worked as Chief Medical Geneticist at BACC, Banagalore and at Dr. Kamini Rao’s Hospital during 2012-2013.
